OUr Mission
Split Rail Winery was founded by folks that care about the wines we create as much as the impact we have on our community and planet. We believe in minimal intervention winemaking and crafting wines that are exciting to us as makers, while leaving a small carbon footprint in the process. As we lean heavily on innovation, experimentation, and taking risks to bring new flavors to your glass, we strive to follow values of sourcing locally, limiting waste, & partnering with people that share similar beliefs.
As part of this mission, Split Rail is striving to foster the idea of sustainability; reducing our business impact, paying employees equitable wages, making business decisions as a team, and crafting products that live both within and beyond the time they are released. We believe that sustainable practices also support ecological, human, and economic health and vitality. These are the types of causes, missions, and efforts that we LOVE to support and all requests associated with this mission will be given priority.
